I really wanted to title this blog post Ruffle Butt.
What started off as a mini lifestyle photography session with my daughter soon turned into family play time.
"Mom, what are you doing in here? Aww, she's so cute! Where's her shirt? Where's the cover? Can we jump on the bed? " The boys asked me an abundance of questions when they discovered my whereabouts in our home. The warm morning sun perfectly illuminates our guest bedroom making it the perfect spot for photography. My plan was to document Blakely's 4 months in a lightly styled, casual setting. I tend to curate lifestyle photography sessions that are simple and allow the focus to be on the subject. Bed + pure white sheets + great lighting = Perfect!
My boys adore their little sister and are extremely sweet and gentle with her. So when they hopped up on the bed with her, I didn't impede. I simply let them do their thing... (minus the jumping)
Patty cake, giggles and kisses to follow... And ruffles, of course.
