Weather apps are not to be trusted. Nope. We called off a photography session in fear of stormy weather because all three of my weather apps were predicting such. Surprise, surprise -- sunshine! Go figure.
Fast forward a week after the originally planned photo shoot.
Meet Nolan, a senior at Kickapoo High School. He joined me for a milestone photo shoot-- senior pictures. We got the traditional yearbook shot out of the way first. There isn't really anything exciting about the standard gray backdrop, especially when you've taken 11 years worth of photos just the same, BUT the yearbook staff requests it.
Afterwards, we headed to our location, and the rest of the photography was much more my style. And probably much more Nolan's style as well.
He's into baseball. A pitcher. And I dare say, was quite the natural in front of the camera, too.
